Know what buyers ask,
where the business
stands, and what
to build next

Digital Traction maps what buyers ask, reads where the business stands in search and AI answers, and ranks the content work that closes the gaps. AI agents research and draft; people approve every brief and every draft.

Discuss Content Engine
A buyer question
  1. What affects the price?

A question buyers ask before they get in touch.

  2. Where it is not answered

The service page does not explain pricing.

  3. Direction for the brief

Make the service page more useful: the pricing factors, what is included and what a buyer needs to provide for an estimate.

  4. Confirmed with the business

Those details are checked before anything is drafted.

Choose the work
your website needs

The priorities start with your business and your own data: Search Console and GA4, keyword and competitor research, and which sites AI answers cite for your buyers’ questions. AI agents rank the work against what the site already covers, and a person approves it.

A useful next step might be a stronger service page rather than another article about the same subject.

Each piece of work is one of four kinds: improve a page, create one, refresh one or combine two. The coverage read further down shows how that work is chosen on an illustrative site.

How the work is ranked

Built on what is true
about your business

Before anything is drafted, Digital Traction writes down what the business offers, how it sounds, what it can prove and what buyers ask: a brand kit and voice guide, confirmed facts, a knowledge base and an intent map. AI agents draft it from your own material and research, and your team confirms it.

Every page on the site is in scope: service, product and category pages, comparisons, cost and process pages, location pages and articles. The knowledge base is built around the page types your site has, and the same intent map organizes paid search and planning for ads in AI answers.

How the foundation is built

What needs
attention first

Content Engine reads your coverage the way a buyer and an AI answer would, then ranks the work. Pages that draw searches on unrelated topics are flagged. Digital Traction keeps building new intelligence into how your gaps and strengths are read.

The read runs on

  • Search Console and GA4
  • Keyword and competitor research
  • Which sites AI answers cite
  • Changes in your category, while they are timely

What sets the order

  • How close the buyer’s question is to a decision to buy
  • Pages close to the first page, and questions where AI answers cite other sites
  • Whether the site can win it, and whether a page already exists
  • Work already in review is left out, so nothing is proposed twice
A person approves the orderThe ranking supports the decision.

One place to
review the work

Digital Traction builds each client a production tracker: every piece, its status, the document behind it and what it is waiting on. Drafts arrive as Google Docs your team edits directly, and sign-off is recorded in the tracker against a named reviewer. Nothing moves toward your CMS without it.

What gets built,
and what it plugs into

Content Engine runs end to end. Digital Traction builds and runs the working parts: the agents that research, draft and check, the tracker, and the foundation they read. They plug into your CMS and your data where both already live. The research data and AI models behind them are chosen by Digital Traction, and replaced when something better holds up in the work. The one step left to you is the important one: a person on your side presses publish.

Up to the publish button

After your reviewer signs off, launch checks run: the approved text against the working copy, links, redirects and page details. Then the page is staged as a draft in your CMS, or delivered as a publish-ready packet, for your team to publish.

What Digital Traction builds

Written and run by Digital Traction. Each part links to where this page shows it.

What it connects into

The accounts and documents your business already uses, left where they are.

Where pages live

Steps 9 and 10. Drafts only, never published.

  • Webflow
  • Sanity
  • WordPress
  • HubSpot
  • Shopify
  • Contentful
  • Wix
  • Squarespace

Webflow and Sanity are connected today, and WordPress, HubSpot, Shopify, Contentful and Wix connect at onboarding. Squarespace and any other CMS get a publish-ready packet. This site’s own Research is drafted into Sanity, and a person publishes it.

Search and site data

Steps 1 and 11. Read only.

  • Search Console
  • Google Analytics 4
  • Google Ads

Google Ads data is used only if you run ads. Reading your CRM beside page performance is in progress, not yet connected.

Docs and sheets

Steps 3 to 8. Where your team edits and signs off.

  • Google Docs
  • Google Sheets
  • Google Drive

What it runs on

The tools Digital Traction uses and keeps up with. The ones it uses run on its own accounts, so your team does not need a seat on any of them, and each is replaced when something better holds up.

Models and research

Steps 1 to 6

  • AI models. Behind every agent. The checks around them are code.
  • Semrush. Market, keyword and competitor research.
  • DataForSEO. Samples of what AI Overviews and AI Mode show, and what OpenAI and Gemini models answer.

AI-answer tracking

Tools Digital Traction keeps up with for tracking AI answers over a larger sample.

  • AirOps. AI-answer prompts and citations, beside content workflows.
  • Ahrefs. AI brand visibility, beside backlinks and rank tracking.
  • Profound. How often AI answers cite a site, and AI-crawler visits.

Peec does the same job.

Where AI traffic actually lands in GA4

Checked September 25, 2026. Digital Traction keeps up with these tools and brings in what earns a place in the work. Names and marks belong to their owners and are shown only to identify each tool.

What changes
when it runs

No invented numbers here. This is what Content Engine is built to change, and what gets reported.

Your site answers what buyers ask

At every stage, on the page type that fits: comparison, cost, location or service.

Your team reviews instead of writing

Research, drafting and checking happen before anyone on your side reads a draft.

Pages your team can put its name to

Facts confirmed with you, figures traced to their source, and no competitor citations.

One map behind content and ads

When Digital Traction also runs your paid search, ads and pages answer the same questions from one map.

Written for AI answers too

Pages open with the answer and use question headings, and AI-answer checks show where others are cited instead.

Results set the next priority

Search Console shows what moved. Pages that did not move come back for a different fix.

Reports cover what shipped, how tracked questions moved in search, and inquiries from those pages where tracking allows. Digital Traction does not promise rankings, AI citations or traffic.

How a page gets made

Eleven steps, three kinds of owner. AI agents do the research, drafting and checking, Digital Traction runs the operation, and your team makes the calls that represent the business.

  1. 1

    AI agents and checks

Read the site and the data

Search Console, GA4, the CMS inventory, and search and AI-answer research.

  2. 2

    Digital Traction

    Rank the work

A person approves the priorities. Nothing is promoted on its own.

  3. 3

    AI agents and checks

    Write the brief

What the page must answer, and the facts to confirm.

  4. 4

    Your team

    Approve the brief

Edit it, and answer the facts to confirm.

  5. 5

    AI agents and checks

    Research and draft

Every figure confirmed current at its source, or cut. A business fact is confirmed with you or asked, and a missing fact stops the draft.

  6. 6

    AI agents and checks

    Check the draft

A separate agent looks only for what is wrong or overstated. Automated checks cover style, links and page details. A draft that fails a check is not delivered.

  7. 7

    Your team

    Review the draft

Edit in Google Docs and sign off in the tracker.

  8. 8

    Digital Traction

    Fold in the edits

Facts go to the foundation. Corrections become checks.

  9. 9

    Digital Traction

    Launch checks and staging

The approved text, links and redirects are checked, then the page is staged in your CMS or packaged to publish.

  10. 10

    Your team

    Publish

A person on your side presses publish.

  11. 11

    AI agents and checks

    Measure

Search Console shows what moved, and the result goes back to step 2.

Every step leaves a record: the brief, the sources, the checks and who approved what.

Checked before your team reads it

Steps 5 and 6 run on every draft, and competitors are never cited or linked. When AI Max or Performance Max is on, Google can draw on a site’s pages to write ad text and choose a landing page, so each business fact is confirmed before a page ships. The checks catch what they are written to catch. Your team’s review is still the decision.

Before the draft, confirm the business

It keeps learning your business

At step 8 each edit is collected from the document, sorted by a person and folded back in. A corrected fact is recorded with its date and source, applied across the batch, and becomes a check later drafts have to pass. New services, documents and competitor moves go into the foundation on a schedule, or when something changes.
